Say what you want. Aalto reads, writes, finds and clicks for you, on any site.

Try it without installing anything

This page can't drive your real browser, so it ships one inside itself - driven by the same tool definitions the extension uses. Every call shows up on the right as it happens.

What a limited company actually is

A limited company is a legal person in its own right. It can hold money, sign contracts and be taken to court separately from the people who own it. That separation is the whole point, and it is called limited liability.

In practice it means that if the business cannot pay what it owes, the people who own it lose what they put in and no more. Their house is not on the table. A sole trader has no such line: the debts of the business are simply their debts.

Registration is not instant. Expect a decision within five working days of filing, and note that a name can be refused for being too similar to one already on the register, which is the most common reason an application comes back.

Once registered, the company must file accounts every year even if it traded nothing at all. Dormant accounts are short, but they are not optional, and the penalty for filing late starts at a hundred and fifty.

What the agent is doing

    What you can do

All by voice, on any site. Say several at once, or cut in whenever you like.

    How it behaves

    • Stays open while you browse. It lives in the side panel, not a popup that vanishes when you click away.
    • Leaves your cursor alone. The shortcut starts it without pulling you out of the box you are typing in.
    • Remembers the conversation. Pause, come back, and carry on - without being greeted all over again.
    • Listens while it talks. Interrupt it mid-sentence and it takes the new instruction.
    • Pauses when you go quiet. After ninety seconds of silence, so it is not spending your credit.
    • Shows its work. Every action appears as a line in the panel you can open up.

    Install the extension

Two minutes, no store listing to wait on. Chrome, Edge, or any Chromium browser.

    1. 1 Download and unzip

Aalto - put it somewhere you will not delete by accident. The extension loads from that folder, so moving it later means loading it again.

    2. 2 Open your extensions page

Go to chrome://extensions and turn on Developer mode, top right. The next button only appears once that is on.

    3. 3 Load unpacked

Click Load unpacked and pick the unzipped folder - the one with manifest.json directly inside it, not its parent.

    4. 4 Grant the microphone once

Press Alt+A. The first time, Aalto opens a page asking for the microphone - it has to ask from a real page, because the invisible document that does the listening may use the microphone but may not prompt for it.

    5. 5 Start talking

Alt+A opens Aalto in the side panel and starts listening; press it again to pause. The panel stays open while you browse and picks the conversation up where you left it.

    6. Whose credits does it spend?

Out of the box the extension uses a shared demo endpoint with a daily cap, so you can try it without signing up for anything. Put your own AssemblyAI key into the extension's settings and it mints sessions straight from that key, in your browser, with nothing in between and no cap. The key never leaves your machine.
